Dr. Jennifer Kryworuchko

Remembering Dr. Jennifer Kryworuchko

We are sad to announce the passing of a dear colleague, Dr. Jennifer Kryworuchko.

Esteemed researcher. Broad thinker. Passionate professor. These are just three of many ways to describe Dr. Jennifer Kryworuchko. We are extremely sad to announce the passing of a dear colleague who worked as an Assistant Professor in the College of Nursing from 2010 - 2015. Dr. Kryworuchko was a registered nurse in three provinces, received a lengthy list of honours and awards and was committed to an excellent program of research examining how people with serious illness can influence their care.

When Dr. Kryworuchko left the University of Saskatchewan, she moved to Vancouver, where she joined the University of British Columbia School of Nursing as an Associate Professor. She leaves behind her husband Marko and four children, Kalyna, Maksym, Jakob and Hannah. Our thoughts are with her family during this difficult time.
