Micro-Credentials
What is a Micro-Credential?
A micro-credential is a short and focused program which teaches skills and competencies to fill gaps in knowledge. Micro-credentials help to retain or build new skills to find new employment or fill community needs. Once the college validates that the student has obtained the specific skill/competency, the student will walk away with an official university-level digital credential that can be added to resumes, LinkedIn profiles, or shared with employers directly.
