This workshop is designed to bring together nurses working in First Nations communities in Saskatchewan for professional development and essential networking opportunities in the streams of Home Care, Community Health, Primary Care, and Leadership & Emerging Issues. Other interested nurses are welcome to attend.

Continuing Education and Development for Nurses (CEDN) is pleased to announce the dates for the 2017 Regional Nursing Workshop. We are proud to offer this event in collaboration with the First Nations & Inuit Health Branch (FNIHB), Saskatchewan Region, Health Canada, along with a planning committee of other First Nations stakeholder representatives.

This workshop is designed to bring together nurses working in First Nations communities in Saskatchewan for professional development and essential networking opportunities in the streams of Home Care, Community Health, Primary Care, and Leadership & Emerging Issues. Other interested nurses are welcome to attend.

  • STARS Simulations (their Mobile Bus will be on site) – Hypovolemic Shock, ACLS, and  Severe DKA (registration preference for Primary Care, NP and AAP nurses)

All other registrants - Registration form

Regular registration until November 7, 2016 - $325 plus $16.25 GST = $341.25

Full time student registration until November 7, 2016 - $162.50 plus $8.13 GST = $170.63

Hotel Accommodations

A limited block of hotel guest rooms are being held at the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel until October 27, 2017, at the rate of $139.00 + taxes per night. Please make your own arrangements specifying the booking code "Regional Nursing Workshop". Parking is $10 per day for guests staying at the hotel.
