College of Nursing faculty and staff along with other experts release open education resource, Northern and Indigenous Health and Health Care
College of Nursing faculty and staff Lois Berry, Angela Bowen, Geoffrey Maina, Heather Exner-Pirot, former Dean and Professor Lorna Butler, and master of nursing student Carrie Pratt released their peer-reviewed, open education resource on October 1, 2018.
Northern health care entails many unique challenges and circumstances that are rarely represented in mainstream health sciences education. The 38 short chapter open education resource from 51 experts provides accessible content on health and health care from a northern perspective.
