"I feel very honoured to be the recipient of the SRNA Ruth Hicks Award for Student Leadership. I have always had a passion for being involved in leadership in any capacity. My involvement has allowed me to create visions and pursue goals with others, contribute to making positive differences and collaborate with many wonderful people - staff and students alike. As I finish the nursing program and work to achieve my professional designation, I hope to be able to translate these leadership experiences to my career." Meghan Bend
