Dean Tzeng Visits Universities in Taiwan
Dr. Tzeng toured two universities on her recent visit to Taiwan
During a recent visit home to Taiwan, College of Nursing Dean Dr. Huey-Ming Tzeng toured two universities and met with the deans of nursing at both.
On December 26, 2017, Dr. Tzeng visited Kaohsiung Medical University, located in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, and met with Dr. Hsiu-Hung Wang, Vice President in Global Affairs and Professor in the College of Nursing, as well as, Dr. Ruey-Hsia Wang, Dean and Professor in the College of Nursing.
On January 2, 2018, Dr. Tzeng travelled to Taipei, Taiwan and visited the National Yang-Ming University School of Nursing. Here she met with Dean of the College of Nursing and Professor, Dr. Yiing-Mei Liou, Dr. Ting Ting Lee, Professor and Director of Nursing and Undergraduate Programs, Assistant Professor Dr. Shu-Her Huang, Professor and Dean Emeritus Dr. Shu Yu, Professor and Associate Dean Dr. Jen-Chen Tsai, Professor, Chief Staff and Special Assistant to the President of the University Dr. I-Ju Chen, Professor Dr. Tzu-I Tsai, Associate Professor Dr. Yu-Chi Chen and Assistant Professor Dr. Man-Hua Yang.
“I had a wonderful time visiting these two fine universities in Taiwan,” said Dr. Tzeng. “I had met these colleagues at previous events and truly enjoyed the time I got to spend with them at their respective institutions. Both my visits were meant to explore the possible partnerships between these two universities and the U of S College of Nursing.”
