College of Nursing “Stuffs the Bus”

College of Nursing Helps "Stuff the Bus"

Local radio station C95 partners annually with the Saskatoon Food Bank and Learning Centre to collect food and money for local families and individuals in need of assistance in emergency situations.

This year, the College of Nursing decided to get on board and help "Stuff the Bus".

From November 13th until November 28th, a donation bin was placed in the College of Nursing main office in Saskatoon and students, staff and faculty graciously donated items to fill the bin. All food collected went directly to the Saskatoon Food Bank and Learning Centre, which assists approximately 12,000 people per month.

The fundraising challenge comes to an end tomorrow, Thursday, November 29th, when C95 participates in their annual "Stuff the Bus" day, where they literally stuff a city bus full of food at the Co-op Marketplace on Attridge.
