Creeson Agecoutay from the Saskatoon Star Phoenix receives the 2012 Extending Our Reach media award

The College of Nursing Presents the 2012 Extending Our Reach Media Award

The College of Nursing recognizes the media as an important partner to help spread our message and extend our reach.

We know media outlets are overwhelmed with news stories every day and they have to make tough decisions about what stories to cover. When the College of Nursing receives media coverage, it's an honour. It means we have been recognized as making a difference in our communities.

The Extending Our Reach media award is an opportunity for the College of Nursing to acknowledge and say thank you to a media partner who has gone above and beyond to provide a positive profile for the College of Nursing. On August 17th, Communications Officer Kylie Dietrick presented the 2012 Extending Our Reach media award to Creeson Agecoutay from the Saskatoon StarPhoenix. Creeson prepared a wonderful story following the Remote Presence technology launch held on June 25th. He worked hard to interview individuals during the busy event and the story he prepared was comprehensive and published in both the Saskatoon StarPhoenix and Regina Leader-Post.
