Associate Professor Dr. Shelley Peacock Receives Provost’s Teaching Award

Associate Professor Dr. Shelley Peacock has been awarded a Provost’s College Award for Outstanding Teaching.

The annual Provost's Award for Outstanding Teaching recognizes an outstanding teacher in each College at the University of Saskatchewan (USask). On September 18th, Dr. Shelley Peacock was recognized as the 2020 College of Nursing recipient.

Dr. Peacock is located at the USask Saskatoon Campus. She has been a valuable member of the College of Nursing since 2011. Teaching extensively in both the undergraduate and graduate programs, she brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to her teaching, based on her past clinical practice and her internationally recognized research on persons living with dementia.

“As a registered nurse I am honoured to learn with and from my patients; as a professor, I am privileged to learn with and from my nursing students,” said Dr. Peacock. “Teaching is my passion; I am delighted that passion shows through. I work alongside some wonderful colleagues in the College of Nursing and feel extremely grateful to receive this award.”
