Panopto
- The Academic Video Service (Powered by Panopto) engages students and enhances instruction by providing access to video content throughout the teaching, learning and discovery experience.
- Integrated with Canvas Learning Management System, this service provides faculty, staff and students with simple and easy-to-use tools to record, edit, manage and distribute video content.
- It can be used for lecture recording, creating content for inclusion in courses, student assignment submissions and much more. Recordings are viewable by eligible users on most Web browsers and mobile devices.
- For best results, please use Chrome or Firefox as your browser.
What do I do if Panopto says I don't have permission to view the videos in my course?
Panopto occasionally has trouble keeping track of what Canvas courses students are enrolled in. To reset your list of enrolled courses, you can go https://usask.cloud.panopto.eu and log in. This will force Panopto to check your course enrollments and add you to any courses it has missed.
To reset your list of enrolled courses, do the following:
- Click the Panopto Video link in the left hand menu of your course. If the link is not available please complete steps 2 through 6.
- Exit completely out of your web browser.
- Go to https://usask.cloud.panopto.eu in your web browser and click Sign in.
- Supply your NSID and password.
- Sign out. This will force Panopto to check your course enrollments and add you to any courses it has missed.
- Return to Canvas and try accessing the video.
