Mobile Devices in Nursing

Access to information on demand at point-of-care is becoming a key component of health care practice. Handheld mobile computing devices are a program requirement for students in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program and Post-Degree BSN Option.

The college recommends Apple (iOS5 or higher) or Android (OS 4 or higher) devices; however, there are several other devices that will also work for the required software packages students will use most often.

Upon admission to nursing, students will have access to use Nursing Central on their handheld device and computer. More information on Nursing Central.
