Primrose Lake Economic Development Corporation

Description: The Primrose Lake Economic Development Corporation (PLEDCO) has the mandate to promote and assist community economic development in the four communities of Cole Bay, Jans Bay, Beauval and Ile-a-la-Crosse. Human Resource Development is an essential cornerstone of that work and it is to that end that the Board of Directors of PLEDCO offer annual scholarships. Candidates must be permanent residents of one of the four PLEDCO communities who are applying for full-time study at a university or other recognized post-secondary institute. Candidates whose studies will help them contribute to the future development of these communities will be favoured.
Please forward completed application packages, including the scholarship form to PLEDCO via mail, e-mail or fax. If mailing, please mail 3 - 5 days prior to the deadline to allow for delivery. Final decisions on scholarship awards are made by the PLEDCO Board of Directors.

Description: Qualified health discipline students can apply for up to $5000 per year of a full-time program to a maximum of $20,000 over 4 years. Approved bursaries are in exchange for a maximum 2 year return-for-service agreement (based on full-time equivalent hours) in a location specified by SCHR. Interested applicants have up to the end of their program to submit their application for eligibility.
