Celebrating Graduates!

Congratulations to the College of Nursing’s Fall Class of 2025 graduates.

For the Fall 2025 graduates of the University of Saskatchewan (USask) College of Nursing, November 12 represents both an ending and a beginning—the completion of their studies and the start of a new, meaningful career in nursing.

These graduates join a proud community of over 11,000 alumni who have shaped the College of Nursing’s 87-year legacy.

“Convocation is a moment for the students to celebrate with those who’ve supported them along the way—classmates, family, and friends,” said College of Nursing Dean Dr. Solina Richter (DCurr).

“No matter where these new graduates have completed their nursing program—whether in Saskatoon or elsewhere across Canada—their education will equip them with the skills and knowledge to thrive in the nursing profession, wherever they choose to live and practice.”

I encourage each graduate to take a moment today to reflect on their journey and be proud of all they have accomplished.”

The College of Nursing would like to extend special congratulations to Dr. Geneveave Barbo (PhD’25), who was recognized as the University of Saskatchewan’s Governor General gold medallist at fall convocation.
