Congratulations Graduates!
Congratulations to the Fall Class of 2024 College of Nursing graduates.
November 13 marks the end of one journey as a nursing student and the start of a new, exciting career for the Class of 2024 University of Saskatchewan (USask) College of Nursing fall graduates.
These newest grads join a group of over 11,000 proud USask College of Nursing alumni, educated over the past 86 years.
The Master of Nursing Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner (MN-NP) fall 2024 graduating class also represents the largest class of MN-NP graduates in college history.
“Our USask nursing graduates have worked incredibly hard to get here today - putting in long days, hard work, and for a lot of our graduates, balancing family, work, and their studies,” said College of Nursing Dean Dr. Solina Richter (DCur).
The College of Nursing fall Class of 2024 includes 27 Bachelor of Science in Nursing graduates, one Master of Nursing – Professional Practice grad, 37 Master of Nursing Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner graduates, one Postgraduate Degree Specialization Certificate Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner grad, one Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing graduate, and the first student to complete the newly introduced Foundations for Registered Nurse Specialty Practice certificate program.

Of the 37 MN-NP graduates, 16 reside in Saskatchewan. From La Ronge to Moose Jaw; Beauval to Yorkton, these students have been completing their nurse practitioner studies across the province.
Not only have the nurse practitioner program graduates been studying throughout Saskatchewan, there are also graduates from British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, Nova Scotia, Manitoba, the Yukon, and the second graduate to complete their program from Nunavut.
“No matter where our students complete their program – whether it’s in Saskatoon or across Canada – their education will give them the tools to thrive in the nursing profession,” adds Dr. Richter.
“I am confident our graduates are prepared to be exceptional nurses. They are the future of healthcare in our province, our country, and our world. I encourage all graduates to pause on this milestone day and be proud of their personal accomplishments,” said Dr. Richter.
