Celebrating National Nursing Week

During National Nursing Week, the University of Saskatchewan (USask) College of Nursing recognizes the nursing profession and all the great nurses who make a difference each day.

National Nursing Week is celebrated this year May 6th till 12th, which includes Indigenous Nurses Day May 6th and International Nurses Day May 12th.

The 2024 theme from the Canadian Nurses Association (CNA) is Changing Lives. Shaping Tomorrow. From the CNA: The theme recognizes the contributions of the tremendous impact that nurses have on individuals, communities, and the future of health care.

USask College of Nursing Dean Dr. Solina Richter (DCur) encourages alumni, current students, and faculty and staff to celebrate this important week.
