Congratulations Graduates!

Congratulations to the spring Class of 2025 College of Nursing graduates.

Today marks the end of their journey as a nursing student for 335 University of Saskatchewan (USask) College of Nursing Spring 2025 graduates. As this chapter closes, a new one opens – one full of learning opportunities and exciting nursing careers.

“Our graduates have worked hard in their undergraduate and graduate programs to get here today,” said College of Nursing Dean Dr. Solina Richter (DCur).

“Nursing studies can be challenging at times, but these students have persevered and no matter where they have completed their program, their education will give them the tools to thrive in the nursing profession.”

The College of Nursing Spring Class of 2025 includes 274 Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) graduates, 34 Post-Degree Bachelor of Science in Nursing (PDBSN) graduates, 18 students completing their Master of Nursing Professional Practice program, five Master of Nursing Thesis completions, and four Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing graduates.

Of significance, the first class of BSN graduates from the distributed nursing site in Lloydminster will walk across convocation stage today. 12 students have completed their program since the first intake at the site in September 2023.

As well, the first cohort of PDBSN students have completed the accelerated undergraduate program, which was reinstated in January 2023, resulting in 34 graduates this spring.

“I encourage all graduates to pause on this milestone day and be proud of their personal accomplishments,” said Richter.

“I am confident USask College of Nursing has prepared our graduates to be the exceptional nurses the world needs.”

On behalf of everyone at the College of Nursing, congratulations to the Spring Class of 2025!
