Biography

Vanessa Ellis Colley is a Research Coordinator within the Nursing Unit for Research and Scholarship Excellence (NURSE) at the University of Saskatchewan (USask) College of Nursing. In her role as Research Coordinator, Vanessa provides strategic post-award research support to Nursing scholars to advance research excellence in the college.

Vanessa has a PhD in Educational Administration from USask and holds a MSc in Human Resources Development and a BSc in Psychology, with a minor in Human Resource Management and Sociology. Her expertise spans pre- and post-award grants management, project management, research/research methodologies, teaching, training and development and human resource management. Vanessa is an active member of several academic and professional associations where she has made various presentations at conferences and workshops including American Educational Research Association (AERA), British Educational Research Association (BERA), and Society for Research Administration International (SRAI).
