Biography

Tania Kristoff is an Assistant Professor – Academic Programming at the College of Nursing, University of Saskatchewan (USask). She received her undergraduate and graduate education at USask (BScN’97, MN’05, PHD’20). Tania’s practice experience as a Registered Nurse includes medical/surgical acute care and community health nursing. She has taught with the College of Nursing since 2016 in the undergraduate nursing program.

Before working at the College of Nursing, Tania taught in the Nursing Education Program of Saskatchewan (NEPS) at First Nations University of Canada. Here, she developed her commitment to teaching and learning on a foundation of respect, building relationships, sharing responsibility, and reciprocity. Tania’s role as an educator has guided her scholarship of teaching and learning. As a Canadian Certified Simulation Nurse Educator (CCSNE), her scholarship focuses on using simulation as a teaching strategy.
