​​Michele completed her Diploma in Nursing at Kelsey Institute in 1985 and completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 1995 at the University of Saskatchewan (USask).  

​Before joining the clinical coordination team at the USask College of Nursing in 2016, Michele worked for the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) for 32 years in the areas of NICU, Pediatric Cardiology and Nursing Practice and Education. Her roles in the SHA were varied, including direct patient care, Clinical Nurse Educator and Manager of Nursing Practice and Education.​
