Nurse Practitioner Programs Coordinator

Maxine is the Nurse Practitioner (NP) Program Coordinator at the University of Saskatchewan (USask) College of Nursing. Maxine has been in her current position since April 2023 and has worked for the College in various roles since 2001.

Maxine is an alumnus of the College of Nursing and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1991. Her areas of practice as a RN include community nursing, pediatrics, obstetrics, and clinical teaching in the undergraduate programs. Her responsibilities as the NP Program coordinator extend beyond administrative duties, encompassing leadership in clinical placement coordination, professional and academic advising support, and mentorship to NP students as they advance their nursing careers. Maxine works collaboratively with numerous stakeholders both within and outside of the University to ensure the program meets rigorous standards and remains aligned with evolving healthcare demands.
