Biography

Kim graduated from the University of Saskatchewan College of Education in 1993 and College of Nursing 2014.

Prior to becoming an RN, Kim worked as the Manager, Support Services for The Kidney Foundation of Canada, Saskatchewan branch where she was involved in educating the public about kidney health. While working for The Kidney Foundation of Canada, Kim learned about the College of Nursing when partnering with the College to deliver health promotion events. During those events she was encouraged to pursue the College of Nursing Post Degree BSN. After earning her BSN, she found her passion being a registered nurse.

Kim has nursed in acute, long-term, and home case. Most recently Kim worked with a specialty program called Senior’s First, aiding in the mission of optimizing the health of seniors in their own homes to enable them to age in place.

Currently, Kim is the Manager of Academic Advising and Student Supports for the Undergraduate program, engaging with a team of Academic Advisors and Student support staff across Saskatchewan.
