Biography

Kelly Hughes is dually qualified as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse and a Registered Nurse, completing a BScMH from Brandon University in 2001. She completed a Master of Nursing - Nurse Practitioner from the University of Saskatchewan (USask) in 2008.

Kelly has spent most of her nursing career providing care to vulnerable populations in a variety of roles including acute and community mental health and addictions, in correctional settings and inner- city health clinics.  Nursing education has been an important part of her work, teaching in the Psychiatric Nursing Program at Brandon University and Nurse Practitioner program at the University of Saskatchewan.
