Dr. Risling Delivers TED Talk

Over the last thirty years, some of the world's most innovative thinkers have been asked to deliver TED Talks. But more recently, TED added to its original platform to include a number of new initiatives, including independently organized TEDx events. TEDx brings the TED platform to local communities, giving local professionals an opportunity to share their innovative thinking with their community for a TED-like experience.

TEDxUniversityofSaskatchewan: Building Bridges took place September 7^th with more than 400 attendees and just under 20 speakers, including College of Nursing Associate Professor Dr. Tracie Risling. Her thought-provoking presentation, Disconnected: Patient Access to Digital Data, looked at the opportunity for patients to access their health information online.
