Dr. Lorraine Holtslander Joins CASN Board of Directors
Professor Dr. Lorraine Holtslander will serve as Director Western Northwestern on the CASN Board of Directors.
The College of Nursing would like to congratulate Dr. Lorraine Holtslander on being selected to serve as the Director Western Northwestern on the Canadian Association of Schools of Nursing (CASN) Board of Directors for a two year term ending November 2019.
CASN is the national voice for nursing education, research and scholarship and represents both undergraduate and graduate nursing programs in Canada. “We are very proud to have Dr. Holtslander from the College of Nursing serve on the board for the official accrediting agency for university nursing programs in Canada,” said Dean Dr. Huey-Ming Tzeng. “CASN speaks for Canadian nursing education and scholarship and to have one of our faculty members on the board is an honour for the College of Nursing.”
“I am looking forward to working with the CASN Board and staff to provide oversight for the operations, finances and overall strategic direction of this very productive and forward-thinking organization,” said Dr. Holtslander.
