Teach the Next Generation of Nurses

The University of Saskatchewan College of Nursing is actively recruiting registered nurses (RNs) and registered psychiatric nurses (RPNs) to teach and mentor the next generation of nurses across Saskatchewan. Our contract teachers play an important role in our undergraduate students' education and a direct role in strengthening health care in their own communities. Contract teaching offers flexibility, rewarding experiences.

Qualifications

  • Registered nurse with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing or nursing equivalent. Master's degree preferred.
  • At least two years of directly related clinical or teaching experience.
  • Must be registered and in good standing with the CRNS.
  • Demonstrate a keen interest in nursing, education, and student mentorship. Well-developed coaching skills are an asset.
  • References must include direct report/supervisor that can comment on clinical competence.

Our Locations

The College of Nursing hires contract/lab teachers throughout Saskatchewan to serve students from our 10 campuses and sites in Saskatoon, Prince Albert, Île-à-la-Crosse, La Ronge, Lloydminster, Muenster, North Battleford, Swift Current, Weyburn, and Yorkton.
