Education Verification - Undergraduate
The University of Saskatchewan (USask) College of Nursing provides graduates of their BSN program with verification of academic and practice education, including program completion, courses and clinical hours.
The education verification package includes:
- Completed forms as requested.
- Documentation outlining courses and descriptions.
- Documentation outlining hours of theoretical instruction and clinical practice hours.
- Verification letter confirming program completion and graduation date.
- Documentation will be signed and sealed if requested.
Please note the following:
- The education verification package will be delivered to the agency indicated in the request.
- A completed package does not guarantee you will receive licensure in the jurisdiction where you have requested the package for.
- Completion of the package can take up to 8 weeks.
- Completion of the package may be delayed if forms are not completed by requestor properly.
- Education verification does NOT include a copy of your transcript. You must request your transcript be sent to your organization via PAWS "My Records" channel.

- If you need education verification for CGFNS, please have the transcript emailed to nursing.educationverification@usask.ca, not sent directly to CGFNS.
Graduates who are registering within Saskatchewan do not need to utilize this process.
Fees
In order to use the College of Nursing education verification service, there is a fee. Please see the various categories of education verification and respective pricing below.
- Verification request for agency within Canada
- Timeframe: Up until 6 months post-graduation
- Cost $210 CAD + courier fees
- Additional verification requests in the same tier and within 1 year of original request are $65 each
- Verification request for agency within Canada
- Timeframe: 6 months after program completion, up to 5 years post-graduation
- Cost $300 CAD + courier fees
- Additional verification requests in the same tier and within 1 year of original request are $65 each
- Verification request for agency within Canada
- Timeframe: Graduated from program more than 5 years ago
- Cost $435 CAD + courier fees
- Verification request for agency outside of Canada
- Timeframe: Any time after program completion
- Cost $435 CAD + courier fees
- United States $40 CAD
- United Kingdom $75 CAD
- Australia/New Zealand $75 CAD
- Other destinations - To be determined individually
Nursing education verification fees are non-refundable after payment is made.
